Tungsten Carbide Inserts

     

Tungsten Carbide is a very fine and hard gray crystalline powder. It is a compound of tungsten and carbon. This compound is bonded with cobalt or nickel in cemented carbide compositions and used to make cutting tools, abrasives, and dies. A tungsten carbide bit is a  type of roller cone bit with inserts made of tungsten carbide.
